Baby Orangutan Shows His Mother How Much He Loves Her With A Kiss On The Cheek

While animals do not communicate with loved ones in the same way that humans do, they certainly have their methods. They show that their love for one another is quite evident through methods of their own development. Indah, for instance, is an eight-month-old orangutan who felt the need to show her mother that she loved her.

Indah may have only been in the world for eight months, but we can see that she has a profound love for mother. It is evident in this video, as you can see her make the bond visible through an adorable peck on the cheek. Although some may not like to believe so, animals do have true love for their families.

You can see Indah’s mother turn her head toward Indah in a kind and caring gesture. Indah happily obliged to this request from her family member, offering up a beautiful peck on the cheek. An amateur photographer named Remco Walravens was lucky enough to capture this moment. The loving pair of orangutans is based in Apenheul Primate Park of the Netherlands.

Remco Walravens happily volunteered to let the outside world know of this adorable moment between mother and daughter, clicking these pictures in the zoo. In a very short matter of time, the captured photo managed to receive 35000 likes on social media. He was quite lucky to capture this joyous moment, as it only lasted for a couple of seconds.

Walravens was questioned as to why he takes photographs of orangutans. His reason for doing so is to show the world how amazing of a species they truly are. The loving bonds they share with another is something that can only be described through the implementation of photography. His hope is that, maybe one day, the world will have the same respect for the animals that he holds close to his heart.
