Kids are always unpredictable, and their candid reactions to life's situations never fail to make us laugh and warm our hearts all at once. One baby girl's reaction to her mother telling her she loves her has made rounds across the internet and brought smiles to thousands of people.
When Gemma Kate's mom tells her she loves her, the little girl knows how to respond. Even though she's under a year old, the close bond she has with her mother is unmistakable. In the video, the mother-daughter duo (who also bear a striking resemblance!) are poised in front of the camera and show off their love for one another.
Gemma Kate's adorable gurgling is the closest we've heard a baby her age say, "I love you," and it's a touching and adorable act to witness.

Babycenter explains that while Gemma Kate may not know what she's saying, babies her age are able to imitate and produce basic sounds, as you witness in the video. A baby's proper first word is usually spoken around their first birthday, but in the months leading up to the milestone, children will learn how to make consistent noises that are similar to actual words, like "all" for "ball" or "ca" for "cat."
Thanks to the video, Gemma Kate's adorable moment with her mom is caught on film forever. Even when she's grown, she'll be able to look back on some of her earliest days and cherish the tender moment she shared in her mother's arms.
