Baby Girl And Daddy Have Touching Conversation

It is often said that when a daddy meets his new baby girl, it's like he's fallen in love again. A visit to the playground will show you all the 'daddy's girls' who are best friends with their fathers, who in turn can't stop doting on their little girls. It's a sight that would melt the coldest heart! This video shows a daddy-daughter friendship begin to form from early on, through a 'spoken' exchange.

We see 6-week-old Ava and her daddy having what seems to be a very serious conversation. Even though Ava is too young to form words yet, you could swear that her dad understands everything she’s saying; he even prompts her to tell him more!

The love in this video is almost too much. Ava has daddy's full attention, and her expressions are hilarious. It would seem that he’s hearing the latest gossip from her—he keeps encouraging her by asking “Yeah?”—and she definitely has a lot to say to him. We’re sure daddy is looking forward to conversations when she can form words, but this is a precious start!

Even if Ava can’t form words yet, her coos make watching the video worth it. She’s got daddy engrossed in the conversation, though all she can do for now are these sweet baby sounds. As they look face-to-face at each other, you can see affection in how their eyes lock. This is a best friendship in the making, and one day they will be glad this chat was recorded!

Perhaps the sweetest part of the clip is when he whispers, “Daddy loves you.” Ava might not be able to say it back to him yet, but we can see that the feeling is mutual. Sometimes love is better expressed with the eyes than using words, and Ava’s eyes are certainly full of love. She's looking at her best friend and hero, and can't get enough of him!
