Recently, a video of a baby elephant has been taking the world by storm. With an incredibly precious face and strong-willed actions, it’s not hard to see why so many people have enjoyed watching the heartwarming moment of the elephant enjoying his daily meal.

The baby elephant was born with Down syndrome, which has led him to face and conquer a few challenges along the way during his lifetime. One mundane activity that has become a bit of a task for the sweet boy is eating. Although he struggles to eat normal food, this has not stopped the baby elephant from getting the proper nutrients he needs to help him continue to grow and thrive. He definitely hasn’t let his disabilities stand in his way when it comes time to enjoy a tasty treat.

This baby elephant is thankfully able to eat one food in particular that he really seems to enjoy -- pumpkins! With a little help from his human friends, the cute animal is able to eat a tasty meal completely comprised of pumpkin every single day. In fact, he gets a full pumpkin all to himself. Even though he needed some assistance every now and then, the elephant was able to muster up enough strength and confidence to continue his meal on his own as he ate the pumpkin slowly and happily.

Yahoo News Canada reported that this baby elephant in particular was born with Down Syndrome, which has led him to face a few challenges during his life. One of those challenges is that eating is somewhat of a tough time for him. Since the elephant is unable to eat normal food, he is given a pumpkin to munch on every day.

A video of the baby elephant with Down Syndrome has been capturing hearts all around the world. In the video the cute elephant was seen being led to an eating area with a group of people, who all helped the animal in the process of both getting there and enjoying his meal. To start off the meal, one person attended to the animal and put a large piece of pumpkin in the elephant’s mouth. The kind animal happily chewed his food and gained some confidence, leading to him getting the rest of the pumpkin all by himself.

Piece by piece, the elephant used his trunk to pick up the pumpkin and place it in his mouth before gnawing on it. Some of the food falls out of the bowl along the way, but that doesn’t stop this baby elephant from continuing on with his meal as he enjoys the mashed pumpkins every step of the way.
