The streets were crowded outside Windsor Castle as people lined up to celebrate the christening of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's son Archie. The ceremony which was held in the Queen's private chapel was only attended by about 25 people.

Meghan and Harry have broke tradition by having Archie's christening closed to the press. However, that did not stop the public from gathering around outside the gates of Windsor Castle to see if they could get a glimpse of the little boy. Many celebrators brought posters and one even brought a cake. Anne Daley, a royals fan made a cake in honor of Archie's baptism, she told the Evening Standard, "We love everything about the royals. We've seen hands and feet, little fingers. But we're very hurt. I pay a lot of tax for their civil duties."

Anne is addressing the backlash Meghan and Harry have received for opting for a private baptism. Many critics brought up the fact the duke and duchess spent $3 million in British tax payer's money to renovate their home. "One minute they want to be royals, the next they don't. That baby is Princess Diana's grandson. We should be able to see the christening,” Anne added.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were seen arriving at Windsor Castle in a private helicopter and Kate Middleton and Prince William came in a car through a private entrance.

Archie wore a copy of the traditional royal christening robe, it was made by the Queen's dressmaker Angel Kelly for the ceremony. Archie was also said to have been baptized with a  Lily font using water from the River Jordan according to the Evening Standard. Archie's Godparents have not yet been announced.
