Audience Weep When Simon Hits Golden Buzzer

Tim Goodacre and his son auditioned as a father-son duo on "Britain’s Got Talent" in 2018. Their performance wowed the judges so much that they earned the golden buzzer from Simon Cowell.

Some would say that the love that grows between a father and his son is unlike anything else in the world. From the moment the son is born, the father and he start growing to love each other in a way that no other love can compare to. These duos often have the strongest bonds out of anyone in the family, and although others may not understand it, it is undisputed and unconditional love.

Many sons even grow up to follow in their father’s footsteps, meaning that they take on the same passions, hobbies, or careers as their dads. Having their father there to teach them the ropes of a new skill is priceless knowledge, and even furthers the bond between the two family members. For one man, this was exactly the case for him and his son.

Tim Goodacre, a stay at home father who tends to his son each day, shares his love for music with his offspring. Together, their talents are a sight to be seen! Although his son is only twelve years old, it seems like he’s mature for his age in a way that can only be taught by a father.

The way he speaks, sings, and carries himself is really something amazing for someone who isn’t even in their teenage years yet.

When the duo decided to share their musical talent on "Britain’s Got Talent" last year, the judges didn’t know what they were in for.

The talented father-son duo decided to sing one of their own original songs, and Tim’s son has no trouble explaining to Simon, known as the toughest judge to please, what the song is about when he declares that the song is about feeling grateful for what you have, reports the Metro.

It’s clear that Tim has raised his son to be an eloquent and talented little boy who has so much joy to spread in the world. Thankfully, Tim’s son also took an interest in music, and they were able to give the performance of a lifetime on the competition stage for all to witness! Once they started singing, no one could believe what they were hearing.

Their voices blend together in perfect harmony and the song sounds incredible with their two voices pitching in. Simon, usually not impressed with mediocre acts, was blown away by this routine!

He even used the golden buzzer to let the duo know how amazing he thought their performance was. He tells them that their song made him think about his own relationship with his son. The duo made it to the final and ended up in 8th place–we are sure this was just the beginning for them.
