Audience Is In Tears After Ellen Calls Grieving Mother On Stage For A Special Surprise

No one should ever have to bury their child. They are expected to outlive us and go on and do amazing things after we have taught them everything we know. Seeing their smiling faces and hearing their laugh is something every parent wants to enjoy until their end has come, and the comfort of knowing that their son or daughter will be able to survive without them.
 

But not everyone gets this luxury.

Jacqui Saldana, a hard-working talented mother, has had to cope with the sudden loss of her son and the unimaginable pain that comes with it.

Jacqui runs a blog and successful online shop called Baby Boy Bakery. She posts fun kid-friendly recipes and updates about her family and lifestyle, which contains a lot of happy entries about raising her son, Ryan.
 

Ryan was outside playing frisbee when he was struck by a passing truck and passed away.

This turned Jacqui and her husband Dan’s world upside down as they tried their best to recover from this tragedy. The loss was most evident on her blog, where she started writing about her daily struggles after losing her son.
 

Fans of her blog soon started writing letters to Ellen Degeneres to try and get Jacqui on the show. Ellen is known for extending a kind hand towards those in need, and people saw how much Jacqui needed something exciting and positive in her life.

Jacqui did end up on the show, but by chance!
 

While out shopping, Jacqui, who is a big Ellen fan, recognized the head writer from the show and told him her family’s story. He gave her tickets to attend, but little did Jacqui know he had already tipped off Ellen about her son and started researching the family’s upsetting backstory.

Much to Jacqui’s surprise, Ellen called her to the stage and their discussion left the audience in tears. Despite what Jacqui and her family have been through, she continued to smile throughout the whole interview and was thankful for the attention she and her husband were receiving after the loss of Ryan.
