At This Resort In Aspen, A Cute Bernese Mountain Dog Will Come And Tuck You In At Night

If you're a skier who loves glamorous accommodations, finding yourself needing to make concessions to your own comfort so you can take your beloved dog along with you, look no further than this luxurious Aspen hotel. The St. Regis Aspen Resort in Colorado not only welcomes your dog, but has its own pup as well. They have all the creature features humans love too, with their spa, award-winning restaurant, leather beds and marble bathrooms.

No doubt, your pup will become fast friends with the hotel's adopted Bernese Mountain dog, Kitty Jacob Astor IV, named after its founder. Kitty came into the world in July of 2018, and by Christmas of that year, the hotel announced it would make St. Regis its permanent home. You're sure to fall in love with Kitty even before you meet her when you take a look at these adorbale pictures.

Kitty isn't just a royal resident, though. She earns her keep with her own concierge duties like helping with the children's story hour, welcoming new guests at the airport and tucking in the guests at night, should they wish her to do that. Kitty has a busy and full life at the Regis.

One of the best features for dog lovers here is that if you have more than one dog, you're not charged extra to accommodate them. The hotel's single $75 fee and $25 per day room fee for the animals not only covers one dog but as many as you need to take along. Your dogs will love their special canine menu, too. Each dog gets its own pup bed and bowl. If your pet is the adventurous type, there are other features for outside activities like hiking vests, booties and dog carriers. And sometimes "mom and dad" want to take off without "the kids" so there are also dog walking and sitting services.

If you're a skier and a dog lover, there probably isn't a better match made in heaven for dogs and their owners to enjoy a fabulous vacation. So, what do you think?
