At 78, Cher Pulls Off Body-Hugging, See-Through Leotard & Leather Ensemble In Special Concert

Singer Cher impressed the audience at “Saturday Night Live’s” “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” when she performed her classic song, “If I Could Turn Back Time.” The “Save Up All Your Tears” singer, 78, was among the many stars commemorating SNL’s 50th anniversary at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Nearly 15 million people watched the three-hour special edition of the iconic show celebrating the incredible milestone that aired on Feb. 16, 2025. 

Not only did Cher stun the crowd with her electric performance, but she also did it looking fabulous. The “Goddess of Pop” is known for her ethereal and unforgettable ensembles, and she did not disappoint. Her bodysuit was sheer, sequined and shimmery, with matching tights and over-the-knee boots. She completed her all-black ensemble with a stylish leather jacket and voluminous brunette locks. The musician frequently collaborates with powerhouse fashion designer Bob Mackie, who has been dressing her since they first met in 1967. All in all, the look echoed the bold and sexy on-stage style that she is known for. 

Performing in front of a star-studded cast, Cher sang her heart out, impressing big names in the audience, such as Kevin Costner, Jon Hamm and Will Ferrell, who were captured enjoying her music. The event featured other musical acts like Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg and The Backstreet Boys and had several past guests making appearances. The concert truly embodied the excellence and comedic genius that SNL has delivered for 50 years. 

“Saturday Night Live’s” 50th anniversary garnered millions of viewers eager to watch the various musical and comedic acts that gathered to celebrate the event. After Cher brought the house down with her incredible performance, the video was uploaded on Instagram and reached nearly 200,000 likes. As expected, many social media users instantly expressed their awe at the energy and stature she maintained well into her 70s. 

One user commented on what we were all thinking when we watched the video:

“Na this is wild I never seen a 78 year old that looks this good. 👏”

Another person appreciated Cher’s love for her career and performance, which is shown in her exciting shows.

“Cher is beyond words! She loves singing and entertaining!,” they complimented. 

Cher’s eternal youth has always been an object of fascination and envy, with the singer looking so much younger than her 78 years. One user perfectly gushed over this, writing:
