Ashley Olsen Has Been Dating An Artist After Splitting From Her 63-Year-Old Former Boyfriend

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are child-stars-turned-fashion-moguls. In 1987, the Olsen twins made their acting debut, when they were only nine months old, as Michelle Tanner in "Full House." The show skyrocketed the Olsen twins into fame and made them a cultural phenomenon. At 7, the sisters - or their parents in their name - founded their own production studio, "Dualstar Entertainment Group."

According to Screen Rant, the television stars went on to star in several movies as co-leads. The films often showed a fictionalized portrayal of twin sisters whose antics ended up getting them into loads of trouble. Along with acting, the Olsen twins created their own brand, including their own merchandise such as dolls, video games, books, and so much more. The iconic sibling duo conquered the 90's and early 00's. In total, America's sweethearts, as they were called back then, appeared in 15 movies together. In 2004, the Olsen twins received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

In 2007, Forbes ranked the Olsen twins as No.11 in their list of "The Richest 20 Women in Hollywood." At the time, the girls were only 20 years old. Over a decade later, the famous child stars have evolved into worldwide businesswomen and grown their wealth sustainably. The Olsen twins have left the limelight to pursue their other passion, fashion. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the Olsen twins have a combined net worth of 500 million dollars. The twins work well together and have been a team their entire lives. Although they lived most of their lives in the public eye, the Olsen twins kept their romantic lives private. 

The Olsen twins grew up in front of the camera, but they were still very cautious about which parts of their personal lives they shared with the world. Actually, the paparazzi's intrusive behavior led them to step away from acting.

"I am so proud of what we did," Ashley told Vogue. "We made kids smile every day. But we had done the most we could do." 

Their childhood fame has taken its toll on the twins, leaving the sisters paranoid from past traumas of dealing with paparazzi.

"The press here in New York respect you more," Ashley said. "It was the worst in Los Angeles when we got our license. They would follow us. They knew where we lived. And you don't know who these people are. People just out of jail." 

Ashley noted that growing up in the spotlight has taught her and her sister to be "discreet" in their personal and professional lives. This is why they were cautious about using their names to introduce their luxury fashion brand, The Row and Elizabeth and James.

"We were raised to be discreet people," Mary-Kate told I-D Magazine.

 "I think that potentially that's just our aesthetic, our design preference," Ashley chimed in.

Not only are the sisters discreet about their brands and designs, but they also keep their romantic lives private. Mary-Kate married Olivier Sarkozy, a man 17 years her senior and the half-brother of Nicolas Sarkozy, the former President of France, in 2015. They had started dating in 2012 when Mary-Kate was 26 and Olivier 43. According to E.T. Online, the couple split in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic. Their divorce was finalized in January 2021. Mary-Kate is not the only twin Olsen sister who has previously dated a much older man, although her eight-year relationship lasted far longer than her sister Ashley's.

Recently, Ashley was photographed with her long-term boyfriend, Louis Eisner, while out celebrating her 36th birthday. But who is Luis Eisner, and how long have he and Ashley been together?

Ashley Olsen was first romantically linked to Louis Eisner in 2017, following her split from Richard Sachs. At the time, Sachs, a financier and art collector, was 58 years old. Although the pair had an 18 years age difference, that is not what led to their separation. 

A source close to the couple told USWeekly that the pair simply broke up due to conflicting work schedules. 

"Ashley and Richard broke up," the insider said. "She wants to focus on her clothing line right now. They're still friends and hang out."

The couple parted ways in 2015, only five months after dating. But towards the end of 2017, Ashley began quietly dating long-time friend Louis Eisner.

Eisner is an artist. His passion for art is passed down from his mother, famed fashion photographer and jewelry designer Lisa Eisner. 

In 2019, a source close to the couple told Radar.com that the two were "not in a rush" to get married. The insider referred to Louis as "a long-term relationship kind of guy" who "doesn't follow societal norms."

According to Hollywood Life, the pair first sparked engagement rumors in 2019 after Ashley was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand. At the time, neither of them confirmed or denied the engagement rumors. The duo made their red carpet debut in 2021 at the YES 20th Anniversary Gala. This marked Ashley's first red carpet appearance in two years. The pair sparked engagement rumors once again in 2022 after Ashley was spotted wearing a gold ring on her left hand while on a date night in L.A.
