Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday where he shared his excitement about becoming a granddad through his daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger and her husband Chris Pratt.

"I've been telling everybody I'm really looking forward to playing around with whatever it is, she or he, and have some fun, I think this is kind of a unique experience," he enthused. "It's so much fun, being a dad. The trick to it is communication."

According to Arnold, the baby is due sometime this Summer. Chris, 40, began dating Katherine in 2018. The 30-year-old is an author who recently published her fourth book, The Gift Of Forgiveness: Inspiring Stories From Those Who Have Overcome The Unforgivable, and the two married last year. This is the couple's first child together.

"They are completely thrilled to be starting a family. Family is everything to them and it's a very exciting time," a source told E! News. "The baby is due early fall. Katherine shared the news with her family very early on. Maria is especially thrilled with the news and can't wait to be a grandma."

Referencing the little one’s diverse genes, with the Schwarzenegger blood coupled with ex-wife Maria Shriver’s Kennedy DNA – and Chris’ bloodline, he joked: "Think about this for a second… There [are] three gene pools here. You can do Kennedy, Schwarzenegger, and Pratt. "We can do anything, we can solve the Cuban missile crisis, we can go and kill [terrorists] with our bare hands, and we go and train dinosaurs."

"[The] worst thing is if this kid ends up with my accent," he added. "That’s what we don’t want."
