Ariana Grande is counted among the most famous pop stars performing today. Both her music and personal life are constant topics of conversation in circles concerned with celebrity news.

Andrea Bocelli is an Italian singer who has reached the status of legend. When Bocelli announced he would partner with Grande for a duet, fans of both artists went crazy with anticipation.

Grande first became known to pop audiences as a young actress on Nickelodeon in 2008. Her first solo album was released in 2013. She has concentrated on her music ever since. The voice that has endeared Grande to her fans is not a manufactured pop voice. Her vocals are more than strong and have often drawn comparisons to Mariah Carey.

Grande has also demonstrated an uncanny ability to imitate some of the greatest singers who have ever performed for audiences. Some of her impersonations include Whitney Houston, Christina Aquilera, and Celine Dion.

It would have made for a great story if Grande's impersonations were the reason Bocelli chose to do a song with her. However, this was not the case. He told Billboard he liked Grande as a person and was happy to have a chance to work with her. Bocelli says he thought of the young pop star as soon as he generated the idea for his new album.

Grande was more than happy to do the song with Bocelli. The duo did a cover of 'E Più Ti Penso,' an Italian song that was a feature on the soundtrack for 'Once Upon A Time In America.'

Knowledge of the Italian language is not necessary to hear the beauty of the song. Bocelli's classic voice mixed perfectly with the raw talent possessed by Grande. The result is a sound that sends shivers down the spines of listeners. To be honest, the pair could record a rendition of the ABCs and make their case for a Grammy.

It did not take much time for 'E Più Ti Penso' to reach the top of the Billboard charts. Bocelli says the opportunity to work with Grande was a privilege. And Grande was elated to know that a man who has written multiple operas on his own thinks so highly of her ability.
