This video, taken in South Africa's Kruger National Park, is practically guaranteed to be the most incredible 60 seconds you will experience today. It documents a moment of real-life escape from a frightened impala running away from a cheetah and jumping into a car for safety.

A group of South African girls was visiting the largest park in South Africa, Kruger National Park, and sitting in their car on the road, reports the Daily Mail. The park serves as a wildlife reserve and tourist attraction. It is home to some of the most exciting big animals still in existence in Africa. The group seems to be stuck in traffic, but they are making the most of it. While parked on the road, they are filming whatever happens to go on around them.

While they are filming, a herd of antelope bounds energetically across the road in front of them. It is a sight to behold. You can hear the excited voices of one or more girls reacting to the action before them. Then the drama ramps up. Following hot on the heels of the antelope, a cheetah then darts across the road as well.

Momentarily, one of the speeding antelope comes careening back alone, without the rest of its group. The cheetah that followed the herd across the road has managed to isolate it from the group and herd it back towards another cheetah, a co-conspirator in the hunt.

The waiting cheetah is blocking the way out of the road between the cars that the antelope had intended to take. The antelope has no place else to go. Death seems imminent.

Cut off from all escape routes, the antelope makes a bold move. The animal leaps into the open window of a Toyota SUV parked on the road. The impact of the beast on the vehicle is quite audible on the tape. So is the sharp intake of breath from someone in the vehicle where the clip was being filmed.

Surprisingly, this dramatic moment is only the first 15 seconds of this minute-long clip. The rest of this short clip replays these dramatic events at least twice. It is replayed with an explanatory voiceover, then it is replayed again in slow motion.

In the end, you can see an open door on the parked SUV ahead. Then the antelope walks away from the other side of the vehicle.
