Anne Hathaway Cradles Her Baby Bump at "The Odyssey" Premiere in a Dior Gown

Anne Hathaway announced her third pregnancy on June 19, 2026, in an Instagram video set to Barbara Lewis' 1963 song "Baby, I'm Yours." She was at a beach, sunlit and glowing, her bump unmistakable. The announcement drew an enormous response from fans and fellow celebrities — and confirmed what many had suspected from photographs taken in St. Tropez in the preceding weeks, where Hathaway had been photographed in a bikini with a visible bump.
On July 6, 2026, she brought that bump to one of the biggest red carpets of the year.
Hathaway, born Nov. 12, 1982, attended the world premiere of Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey" at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London wearing a baby-blue Dior Haute Couture gown — strapless, with soft pleating from the empire waist to the floor-length hemline, and a dramatic organza rosette at the center front. The silhouette was widely described as goddess-like, and the color — a soft cornflower blue — gave the whole look a luminous quality that photographers captured from every angle. She cradled her bump with both hands as she posed on the carpet. She was caught mid-laugh in several images, hand over her mouth, still keeping the other protectively over her stomach.
She is expecting her third child with her husband of 14 years, actor and businessman Adam Shulman, born April 2, 1981. The couple share sons Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman, born March 24, 2016, and Jack Shulman, born November 2019.
On that carpet, surrounded by the cast of one of the most anticipated films of the year, Hathaway was the image everyone wanted.

"The Odyssey," directed by Christopher Nolan, is his 13th feature film and a direct follow-up to the Oscar-winning "Oppenheimer." An epic adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek poem, the film stars Matt Damon as Odysseus and features an ensemble cast that includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong'o, and Hathaway herself, who plays Penelope — Odysseus's faithful wife who waits 20 years for his return. Tom Holland plays their son Telemachus. The film hits theaters on July 17, 2026.
At the world premiere, Hathaway posed alongside her castmates — Damon, Holland, Zendaya, Pattinson, Nyong'o — and held her own as the evening's most photographed presence. The blue gown was a sharp pivot from the photocall look the night before, in which she wore a white Blumarine dress with cascading ruffles, sheer sleeves, and over-the-knee boots — two entirely different registers, both executed flawlessly.
The pregnancy has been described in every interview since the announcement as something Hathaway is openly joyful about. "It's hard not to smile," she told one interviewer on the press tour. The photographs from Leicester Square bore that out — here was a woman at 43, pregnant with her third child, standing on a carpet in a Dior gown, cradling her bump with both hands and laughing at something off camera.
"Maternal glow" is a phrase that gets used lazily and often. On July 6, 2026, at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, it was the only phrase that applied.
