Anne Hathaway Announces She is Expecting Baby No. 2

Anne Hathaway’s got a bun in the oven! The academy award-winning actress announced via Instagram that she is expecting her second child with husband Adam Schulman.

However, the star reveals that she struggled with infertility and it wasn’t exactly a straight line to her becoming pregnant. 

“It’s not for a movie…” Hathaway wrote alongside a black and white mirror selfie of her showing off her baby bump on Instagram.

“⁣All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell,” Hathaway continued, “please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love.”

The Devil Wears Prada star welcomed her first child in 2016, a son whom she and Schulman named Jonathan.

Hathaway has also been vocal about the stigma women face after they have a child and are expected to immediately bounce back into shape.

“There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever). There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all),” Hathaway wrote on instagram.

She posted a photo of jeans that she had just cut to make into shorts saying alongside the post, “

There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer's are just too dang short for this summer's thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow. Bodies shrink. It's all love (don't let anyone tell you otherwise.)”

Currently, the box office star is filming a remake of the 1990 movie “The Witches,” the film is based on the novel written by Roald Dahl according to CNN.
