Being a celebrity comes with many ups and downs. Most people become famous thanks to an amazing skill that they have, whether it be in singing, dancing, acting or playing a professional sport. Their fame can help bring them anything they could have ever dreamed of, including plenty of opportunities for future jobs and a stable amount of money. However, being in the spotlight also means that celebrities' personal lives are the center of attention, even when they don't want them to be.
Anna Faris is an actress who is no stranger to having her professional, and personal life talked about in Hollywood. She first rose to fame for her work in comedic roles, especially as the lead in the "Scary Movie" film series. Faris also received great recognition for her work in other films such as "The Hot Chick," "What's Your Number?" and "The House Bunny." She has also starred in several TV series, including a full-time role on "Mom" and a recurring role on "Friends."
The actress also received plenty of media attention following her relationship with fellow actor Chris Pratt. Faris and Pratt were one of Hollywood's favorite couples for many years, but that all changed when they divorced in 2018. They had been together for over 10 years and married for nine of those years, although their separation lasted for quite some time.
As the years have gone by, Faris has continued to share the lessons she learned from her divorce from Pratt and is growing more every day. She also seems to be in a good place, embarking on new career paths and enjoying her new relationship.

Faris and "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Pratt met back in 2007 while gearing up for the film "Take Me Home Tonight," in which they played love interests. They began dating shortly after and were engaged by late 2008. They married in July 2009 in a small ceremony and welcomed their son Jack in August 2012.
While Faris and Pratt were once the talk of the town as they seemed like one of the most adorable Hollywood couples, they shocked the world when they announced their separation in August 2017 before filing for divorce by the end of that same year. Their divorce was finalized in October 2018.
This was not the first divorce for Faris, as she had previously been married to actor Ben Indra from 2004 to 2008. It's safe to say that Faris has learned many valuable lessons about relationships and has learned more about herself over the years. In 2015, she launched her own advice podcast titled "Unqualified," which has the same name as her New York Times bestselling memoir.
Over the years, Faris has opened up about her relationship hardships. Back in April 2018, she talked about how she and Pratt were able to still get along despite their marriage coming to an end and learned many valuable lessons from their time together.
According to People, she said, "I think that it's a lesson learned in keeping relationships a little more private, potentially, even though I pride myself in being a pretty open person. But, I don't know, it's tough when you're under the scrutiny."

Back in 2016, Faris had talked about potentially being more private with Pratt as rumors circulated that their relationship was in turmoil. "We grapple with a lot of the ideas of being a public couple," Faris said, as per Us Weekly.
After their relationship ended, Faris shared some advice she learned many years prior: "Value yourself, value yourself. We talk about that on the podcast a lot, about how women tend to not have strong egos as men and don't really prioritize themselves."
Fortunately, Faris has continued to grow as a person since her split from Pratt and kept her heart open for her current relationship. She first started dating cinematographer Michael Barrett in September 2017 while working on the film "Overboard." In 2020, Faris confirmed that the two were engaged.
According to TODAY, she bonded with actress Gwyneth Paltrow on an episode of "Unqualified" in March 2021 as the two women talked about their past divorces and their current relationships. "I'm engaged to a man who demanded the same thing, which I never had before," Faris said. "I had never been confronted with intense eye contact, actually."
Faris also talked about not feeling competitive with Barrett – something that was different from her past marriages. "My two other marriages were with actors, and I don't think we did a great job of eliminating competitiveness," the actress said. "Or at least I didn't, being a proud person and not wanting to reveal vulnerability. Any hint of competitiveness and comparison, I didn't handle that very well, I don't think."
Nowadays, Faris is happily married to Barrett, as the two tied the knot in 2021 in a courthouse ceremony in the state of Washington.
