“Angel” On NYC Subway Buys All Of Flower Lady’s 140 Roses But Has Peculiar Request.

Maria Lopez was on the 6 train in the city of New York when she was the witness to a beautiful exchange in 2013.

The incident has touched people all over the goal, and currently boasts more than 10 million views on youtube.

Maria Lopez, the woman who filmed the whole ordeal, had previously been standing near a flower vendor who was working on the subway. She was watching the lady sell all kinds of colorful roses for just a dollar each when she saw a younger man wearing a business suit approach the lady.

“I looked at this woman and I felt really connected to her,” she told the Huffington Post, “So I started shooting.”

Maria began to record the interaction between the man and the vendor. It turned out that he wanted to buy 140 dollars’ worth of roses. The flower vendor was pretty confused about what was happening. When the man pulled out cash from his wallet, she asked him if he was serious.

“You gotta do me a favor,” the man tells the seller as he hands her the cash. “You gotta give them out. Just give them to everybody, don’t sell any of them. Just give them away.” He then gets off the train at the next stop.

The lady promised to do what he asked. Maria said that the young man then got off of the train and disappeared. 

“He was like an angel,” Lopez said. “He just disappeared.”

The flower vendor held a hand to her heart before bursting into tears. Maria believed that she was crying because she was so shocked that someone could be so generous.

The vendor then stayed true to her promise and began to hand out her roses for free. Maria noted that the incident changed the entire atmosphere in the train. It made amazing sense to all of them. It was wonderful to see someone act so generously and out of character for once!

Maria is very correct; there are people who do a lot of good in the world. We love stories about angels who make the world a better place, and we hope this generous man continues to do good in the world!
