Andrea Bocelli And Handsome Son Singing Ed Sheeran Has Fans Jaws Dropping

Andrea Bocelli and his son Matteo Bocelli gave an emotional cover of Ed Sheeran's Perfect on the Ken Bruce show back in 2018.

We all know the kind of voice that Andrea Bocelli has. It’s mesmerizing to hear whenever we are blessed with the chance. But what many people don’t realize is that Bocelli has a very talented son, Matteo Bocelli. Matteo is quickly becoming just as popular in the music scene as his father, and for a very good reason.

Not only do the two look alike, they even sound very much the same!

While Andrea Bocelli and Matteo Bocelli have been trained as classical singers, many fans consider them both classical crossover artists. Andrea has had the amazing opportunity to sing with different artists throughout his years in the music world.

We are blessed to hear one of his more exceptional duets, performed with his own father. Matteo can be heard on the single Fall on Me with Andrea. They each sang a beautiful tribute to the other in both Italian and English.

Amos Bocelli, Matteo’s brother, is another featured artist on the album. He plays the piano. When British singer Ed Sheeran was slated to record a duet with Andrea, both brothers were simply amazed at the opportunity!

Ed Sheeran is a highly popular star with a very unique voice of his own. He already has a list of hits that men and women all over the world love. When he was approached with the idea, Andrea wasn’t exactly sure what or who he would be dealing with.

Ed took a plane out to Andrea’s beautiful home in Tuscany, according to Evening Standard. There, they recorded the song Perfect to go on Ed’s newest album, Divine. But before Ed came out to his home, Andrea asked a lot of questions about the great artist in order to prepare himself. He stated that his two sons are fans of Ed Sheeran and were thrilled to meet the huge star and hear him sing live. He says they were in awe of the popular singer and were very emotional about the whole ordeal.

Andrea and Matteo decided that they were going to record another song together. The song that they chose was none other than Perfect by Ed Sheeran. Matteo takes the spotlight in the beginning, with Andrea singing in the background.

The then 20-year-old did his best to sound more like the superstar during this particular rendition of the song. When Matteo finished up his solo and gave the limelight back to his dad, Andrea gave him a loving pat on the back.

When the older Bocelli started to sing, he decided to do so in Italian. You won’t believe how good Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” sounds in this beautiful language!
