Babies are curious and expressive little beings. They like to explore their surroundings and test things out with their hands and mouth. Many parents like to encourage their children to wander around in a safe environment so they can experience as much as they can as they grow up.

That is exactly what Ivy and Nick Janzen did with their daughter when they went to visit their local Walmart in Wichita, Kansas. That day, 5-months-old Kira became the star of the store after a security camera captured her adorable face and projected it on full display for the other shoppers to see.

Ivy and Nick wanted to shop for a television monitor and brought their 5-month-old daughter, Kira, along for the ride. After getting the monitor, they were going to pick up a few things in the grocery section so they will have something to cook for dinner later on that evening. As they browsed through the electronics section, Nick noticed a security camera that was connected just under a hanging, big screen TV. He thought about it for a second and asked his wife if he should lift Kira up in front of it.

“Yeah! Do it! I’ll take a picture. Do it.” she said ecstatically, as she later told Inside Edition. Nick proceeded to lift Kira up and her face took up most of the screen. She was on full display for the other shoppers to see. Her big brown eyes and adorable nose could be seen and she appeared to grab the sides of the camera since they were also in view.

Before Kira could move any further, Ivy quickly took the photo showing her curious daughter’s face. It is noticeable that she enjoys being the center of everyone’s attention and loves seeing herself smile on TV.

The Walmart employees were standing around laughing at what the three of them were doing. Seeing all of this, Ivy immediately sent the photo to her sister, who then posted it to Twitter. Unbeknownst to them, the tweet went viral. Kira’s cute and adorable face received more than 43 million views within a short period of time. Ivy and Nick had no idea this little impromptu moment would garner such attention. They thought the photo would only be seen by friends and family.

Their story was so enjoyable, that the family was interviewed by Inside Edition. Ivy held Kira as the couple explained how everything happened. In the video, you can see how curious Kira naturally is because she was focused on herself, again, in the camera in front of them.

Ivy has read many comments from people saying that their daughter’s picture put a smile on their face and that it was the funniest thing they had seen all day. Both Ivy and Nick were happy to know that sharing this picture boosted many people’s spirits.

It is great to see parents like Ivy and Nick do something so simple that brought a lot of smiles and happiness to many people’s lives. Kira’s adorable face and curiosity were the highlight of our day!
