Alyson Hannigan & Daughter Keeva Have Fans Seeing Double

Alyson Hannigan and her daughter Keeva Denisof just gave fans a serious case of déjà vu.

The “How I Met Your Mother” star, 52, recently shared a sweet selfie with her 14-year-old daughter, and fans couldn’t help but point out just how much the teenager looks like her famous mom.

Hannigan and Keeva posed together during a recent outing to a Jellycat pop-up event in Los Angeles on Sept. 26, 2026. With their matching red hair styled with similar middle parts, the mother-daughter duo looked so alike that followers were practically doing a double take.

“That’s your exact twin,” one fan commented, while another joked, “I only see two Alysons.” Someone else described the resemblance as a “copy paste” situation, while another quipped that husband and father Alexis Denisof’s DNA “didn’t stand a chance.”

Others noted that the pair “look like sisters!” and told Hannigan that her “daughter has your exact face!”

The resemblance has apparently become even more noticeable as Keeva has gotten older. Hannigan shares Keeva and 17-year-old daughter Satyana with Alexis, whom she met while working on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” The couple married in 2003, and Alexis later appeared alongside Hannigan on “How I Met Your Mother,” playing news anchor Sandy Rivers.

Hannigan’s recent post wasn’t just about their uncanny resemblance, though. The actress also gave followers a peek at the fun-filled Jellycat outing, including a photo of Keeva standing beside a giant plush toy and personalized cookies bearing their names.

And there was a special family touch to the day, too.

Hannigan showed off an adorable Jellycat-inspired manicure that had actually been created by her older daughter, Satyana.

“Had the BEST time at the @jellycat event,” Hannigan wrote in her caption, adding that she was “so grateful” for the custom manicure.

“Safe to say she’s the true artist in our family!” the proud mom added.

The outing comes shortly after Keeva reached another major milestone: starting high school.

In August, Hannigan shared a photo of her youngest daughter holding a handmade sign that read:

“So High School — Class of 2030.”

The reference was a nod to Taylor Swift’s song “So High School,” a fitting choice for a mom who has previously been open about her love of crafting and her daughters’ personalities.

“Back to school means back to sign making!” Hannigan wrote at the time, adding that she had to reference her favorite Swift song because she now has “2 High Schoolers.”

For Hannigan, watching her daughters grow up has been a journey she has embraced alongside her Hollywood career. She has previously said motherhood changed her perspective, calling it a “nonstop, wonderfully hard job” that has also been incredibly rewarding.

And while Keeva may be her mom’s mini-me in the looks department, she appears to have plenty of her own personality, too. Hannigan previously described her youngest daughter as a performer who loved creating characters and dressing up, even joking that she might someday audition for “America’s Got Talent.”

For now, though, it looks like Keeva is simply enjoying being a teenager — while occasionally making the internet wonder whether it’s looking at a young Alyson Hannigan or her daughter.
