There is no age limit when it comes to true love.

Eighty-three-year-old Lionel Uzé and 78-year-old Evangeline Romero are living proof of this truth. The pair met when they were both staying at the Garden View Assisted Living in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Although both seniors were only planning on staying at the facility for a short time, they ended up loving it so much that they did not want to leave.

However, the facility was not the only thing that the two fell in love with. They also happened to fall in love with each other.

Sparks flew when Lionel asked Evangeline for a dance one night at a facility function. That dance was all that it took for the couple to begin their special romance.

It did not take long for wedding plans to be in the making.

Despite some doubts from somebody who wanted the pair to wait before tying the knot, the couple knew that they did not have time to postpone the wedding.

The whole facility became involved with the planning for the special day. Evangeline credits God for their coming together. She firmly believes that their meeting did not happen by accident and that God played a hand in the union.

The big day finally arrived on January 20, 2019. Evangeline wore a pink blouse and matching jacket while Lionel looked dapper in a complementary tie and boutonniere.

Evangeline's daughter remarked that she has never seen her mother so happy. Lionel's son echoed that sentiment, adding that the two are like two teenagers in love.

The pictures of this wedding and the video of their story should not be missed. After you have had the chance to watch this adorable couple talk about their love, be sure to spread the joy to everyone that you know.
