Matthew was only 12 when he first starting working on the show in 1978, and only 17 when the show was finally canceled. He is on the autistic spectrum but manages to charm people and perform his chosen work extremely well. He often uses the pseudonym "Matthew Charles" for his work as a voice artist in animated pieces, as detailed here on his IMDB profile.

He has played many roles in movies, TV shows, and as a voice artist in animated features. In addition, he is an avid video game player and was crowned Pac-Man champion in 1982.

In 1992, he decided to focus on his voice artist roles rather than his acting. You've heard his voice in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and the new Netflix series The Girl and Her Robot.

Since we are mostly just hearing his voice these days, few fans are aware of how he looks. Well, sources report he looks fantastic.
