Agile Puppy Evokes Laughter Trying To Play With Baby

What could be more exciting than a new baby in the house? For one small fluffy dog, the arrival of a new household member was enough to get it jumping for joy—literally. The pooch shown in a popular and very sweet viral video could not sit still while its new sibling posed patiently for the camera.

The pup first arrives at the bedside with a pink rubber ball. Did it want to play? Was it bringing the baby a gift? Only the little fluffball knows the answer. What is known is that the dog may have overestimated the new human's athletic abilities. The dog flips the ball up on the bed where it rolls towards the baby and remains. The failure of the baby to toss the ball back did not dampen the enthusiasm of the springy pup.

Rather than leave in disappointment, the enthusiastic doggy got even more excited. The dog then began jumping repeatedly in the air in an unsuccessful attempt to climb on the bed. Some online viewers believe the dog only wanted to retrieve its ball and others feel its constant jumping was to get to its new best friend.

The baby in the video split her attention between the camera and the pooch. The eye contact between the dog and the baby showed that these two have already developed a friendship. It is easy to imagine the adorable photo and video opportunities that will occur in that home over the next few years.

Throughout the short video the dog remains dedicated to its attempts to keep the attention of the baby and get on the bed. The fluffy creature showed great endurance with its high jumps and only took one short break.

The video shows clearly why so many people have dogs in their life. No other creature in the world shows so much unbridled enthusiasm at the mere sight of a human. How can people not return their love? The video also shows that this pup will make a great companion and playmate for the baby as it grows. It would probably also make a great personal trainer at a local gym. Can you imagine one solid minute of high jumps?

Do not keep this video to yourself. Show it to your loved ones too and get their opinion. Is the dog only interested in the ball, or jumping for joy at the sight of the baby? Leave us a note in the comments to let us know what you and your friends and family think.
