This mom goes to the bathroom and leaves her infant alone for literally 60 seconds. The young Jayah fell into the pool, passed out, and was pronounced dead later at a hospital. But angels must have been with her - because later, Jayah came back to life.

Inevitably, many children drown each and every year. In fact, government officials estimate that 10 children die from drowning every day. Believe it or not, most kids fall victim to pools stationed in their own backyards.

Julia Thrash almost lost her own daughter earlier this year. The mother went to the bathroom; she only planned on being gone for no longer than one minute. While Julia Thrash went to relieve herself, her one-year-old child - she had been laying in the living room watching the television - somehow opened one of the home's doors and was lying face down in the pool when her mother discovered her.

Thrash's heart was racing non-stop. There she stood with her baby, Jayah, on the phone with 911 after she pulled her from the deadly water.

Even though Julia tried to save her baby, nothing worked.

A nearby hospital informed Julia Thrash that Jayah had been declared dead.

To add insult to injury, the medical staff at the hospital wouldn't let the mother or father hold the child as a means of obtaining closure. However, after just a minute or two after Julia heard the words, "I'm afraid there's nothing we can do," Jayah started breathing.

Although Jayah couldn't go home for a couple of weeks, she eventually returned home - 100 percent safe and sound - without even a hint of brain damage.
