After Mother Cow Collapses In Sadness To Her Stillborn Calf, He Remains By Her Side To Comfort

Of all the people on the earth, animal lovers are among the kindest. They exude great dedication when motivated to preserve the animals all across the world. In doing so, we are able to witness a form a pure love demonstrated by those who admire the life of the wild. Even though communication is limited between those who love animals and the creatures themselves, the true heroes lie within those who are actively seeking to nurture wildlife.

A 29-year-old by the name of Kayla Tipps has no trouble when describing her husband as a great example of this. Her husband’s name is Benjamin and he is also 29 years old. On Mother’s Day his heroism was demonstrated as he nurtured a female cow after she had given birth. The couple could be found in Borge, Texas during a time they were visiting their family. Nearby they witnessed a mother cow collapse in the grass after she gave birth to her calf. Immediately things appeared to get worse. Giving birth is a happy time in life. However, for the mother cow it was devastating. Her baby calf was stillborn.

Kayla explained that for days the mother cow had been in labor. As a result, the sack containing the unborn calf had burst causing it to die. The death of the calf came as a surprise to everyone aware of the mother cow’s history with birth. Her first pregnancy succeeded without this problem and the once young cow was now completely developed and healthy.

The realization that her baby calf was no longer living saddened the mother cow. As a result, she withdrew from her surroundings and collapsed on the ground. Benjamin hated seeing the mom in a state like this. He decided that he would stay by her side and offer his form of compassion and support to her while she mourned her stillborn calf.

This heartfelt moment was captured through photos by Kayla. The photos were shared for the world to see on Kayla’s and her husband’s Facebook page. According to the family the mother cow is doing much better. People are still extending their sympathies to the family for the loss of the calf.
