After Dad Struggles For Hours To Install Cat Door, Cat Gets The Last Laugh In Hilarious Video

We cat lovers know that we would do almost anything for our furry friends! That’s why Philo, playfully nicknamed “Phil”, got a special addition to his home. Just to help Phil, the cat’s owner spent the day trying to install a cat flap on the house door.

Phil’s human dad decided that a cat flap was exactly what Phil needed to help him get in and out of the house without a hand from the humans. Dad spent two hours installing the cat flap, carefully doing exactly what the instructions said to make it perfect. The result is hilarious!

Phil saunters toward the house, swishing his long tail as he surveys the new addition to his home. Dad is standing back with a camera, waiting to catch the entire event so that he can show the world his kitty's appreciation. Dad can hardly wait to see his favorite furry friend try out the new door and make his way into the house.

Instead of trying out the cat flap, Phil rears up on his hind legs and reaches up to swat his paw against the door knob, just like a human! Getting back down on all four-legs, Phil pushes against the door until it opens and walks right into the house. Forget needing a cat flap – this kitty is just as smart as the humans and knows how his family gets into the home!

While dad was probably disgusted that his cat flap was unnecessary, he likely got a good chuckle out of his cat outsmarting him. Thankfully, the cat flap will come into good use when the family needs to lock the door during the night or when they are away from home. We can only hope that Phil lowers his pride enough to go out of the cat flap when necessary.
