Adults Ask For 'Kid Free' Planes After Man Posts Video Of Child Crying On 29-Hour Flight

They say traveling is the best teacher, and it’s probably true because you’ll learn a lot along the way, most especially when you finally get to your destination. But whether you admit it or not, riding the plane is not the best part of the experience. It can even be very exhausting, to say the least, depending on the travel time. Well, except, of course, if you’re taking first-class, you probably wouldn’t mind even if it took you a week to get to your destination. But one man learned a lot during his plane ride along, and it wasn’t the best experience, to say the least.

Henry Beasley, one-half of the New Zealand-based duo Balu Brigada, posted on TikTok a video of him while on a plane ride to Berlin. But it wasn’t the fun kind of travel video you would expect, where one would show scenic spots throughout the trip. It was actually the opposite, and it was worse than one could ever imagine. In fact, some described it as a “horrifying” experience. So, he thought it would best to capture moments from the trip, so he took the time to record some of the most remarkable ones and decided to compile them into one video.

“Hey babe, how was your flight?” he wrote in the caption of the video he posted on TikTok.

In the video, he can be seen twitching his eyes as he mocked the kid by rating the screams. Well, you could say it’s a review in some way.

At first, it seemed manageable for him as the kid screamed in what he described as a “strong start.” With the kid seemingly showing no signs of slowing down and screaming at the top of his voice, Beasley said: “The kid’s got some lungs.” 

At one point, the kid screamed with “great projection,” as noted by Beasley.

But the kid’s scream wasn’t consistent. It can be short, but sometimes it can be long, too. “A nice long one here,” Beasley said as he reacted to one of the longer screams. But the kid has got some talent, too, as one of the screams sounded similar to one of the things most of us use to boil hot water in the morning: a kettle.“Kettle’s boiled,” he said.

“Bring it on home now,” he said as he appeared to have reached the threshold of his patience. “Stellar performance. Incredible stamina. 10/10,” he said, adding three clapping hand emojis.

Of course, the internet had a lot to say about Beasley’s experience. Some said they felt sorry for the kid’s parents who had to go through it, while others sympathized with the rest of the passengers on the plane.

“That poor mother,” one user said. “I feel bad for the people next to these children 😂 Also the parents,” another user remarked.

Meanwhile, there were also those who suggested that there should be “kid free” flights to prevent such instances from taking place again in the future, considering how annoying it could be for some.

“Honestly, there should be kid free flights and kid flights,” one commenter said. “I would pay EXTRA for kids free flights,” another user said.

Others had hilarious reactions, including one about why they don’t want to have children. “I’ve stopped counting the reasons why I don’t want kids but this one is definitely on the list,” the user said.

As of writing, the video has already garnered more than 11 million views on TikTok.
