Adorable Dachshund Takes His BFF For Stroll

Dogs and other animals often get along surprisingly well. In this video, a tiny dachshund takes his very big friend for a walk. It's hard to tell whether the horse or the dachshund is having more fun — or maybe the winners are everyone who gets to view this adorable scene.
This particular dachshund is named Schnitzel. He's a tiny dog with black fur and tan markings around his mouth and paws. His best friend is Chief, a Connemara Pony with a cheerful face. The video shows Chief wearing a comfortable blanket and a bright red lead around his neck.
At the start of the video, Schnitzel has the lead in his mouth and is prancing joyfully across the stable floor. He has to jump to step over the giant rope, which was designed for a horse and not for someone as small as him.

After a few steps, Chief the horse starts to follow Schnitzel's lead. The rope is never taut, so it's pretty obvious that the horse is playing along with his friend. Chief truly seems to be enjoying their little game.
Schnitzel and Chief aren't the only ones having fun. As the tiny dog walks the giant horse, the other horses in the stable and their caretakers smile and laugh. Something about these two adorable friends puts everyone who sees them in a better mood.
Schnitzel is a tiny dog with a big heart, and Chief is an angel for playing along with him. Both of these creatures are gentle and smart, so there's no problem trusting them alone with each other. Of course, there's still a human behind the camera keeping an eye on things–just in case.
Anyone would be blessed to work in a stable with two characters like these prancing around. As Schnitzel gets older, who knows what kinds of antics he'll get into?
Dogs and horses are adorable, and they're even cuter when they work together. If your friends need a little cheering up, try posting this video where they can see it. Don't forget to talk about how cute Schnitzel and Chief are in the comments.
