Adorable Black Labrador Shows Owner The Extent To Which She Enjoys Her Pool

There is nothing better than a refreshing dip on a hot day. The feel of the cool water lapping against your hot skin is invigorating in a way that nothing can match. Whether it is a creek, lake, pond, or pool, cooling off in a body of water is an experience that most of us lavish and hold onto for a lifetime. In this video from 2017, a black labrador named Teal shows her owner she feels the same as she demonstrates the joy a splash in her pool on a warm day brings.

Humans are not the only species that find taking a dip in the pool to be a real treat. Our canine friends love splashing around just as much as we do. While certain dog breeds are more interested in the water than others, Labrador Retrievers are at the top of the list of water-loving canines. In fact, one Lab went to great lengths to show her owner just how much she loved her pool in this cute clip.

While we expect this video to start out with a dog inspecting a pool or slowly entering into its depths, we are quickly surprised to find a pup abruptly splashing about in a shallow pool that her owners have given to her. Panning to a hard-sided pool filled with water, we immediately see a lab splashing about. She appears to be having the time of her life. Splashing with her front paws and appearing to smile, the lab is living her best life in a pool that is all hers.
The entire minute and a half that this video plays, shows this lab having the time of her life in her own pool. Occasionally, she settles down, submerges herself into the pool, and then jumps up to begin splashing about again. The look on her face, while she does this, is priceless. It is as though she is looking around to see if anyone else is watching, but she does not really care.
This pup is just doing what dogs do best. Playing about and having a good time is what life is all about. We hope this dog's owner enjoyed watching the freedom this lab pup experienced as she splashed about in her pool on a hot summer day.
