Adorable Baby Black Bear Cubs Have A Blast On Backyard Playground

In 2012, Kevani Macdonald, a Whistler, British Columbia, Canada resident witnessed the absolutely adorable moment a mama bear and three cubs played on her backyard playground set on a sunny day and posted the footage to YouTube.

Anyone with kids knows how much fun can be had with a slide and some swings and apparently this is the case for a family of bear cubs as well. This mother and her five cubs were spotted by a local Whistler resident, Kevani Macdonald who captured this beautiful and hilarious scene on video.

It takes place on the family playground set. The thing that really makes this both a funny and emotional video is the fact that the cubs play so much like human children.

Those that have kids know that they usually have as much fun climbing up a slide as they do going down it. This is a fact that holds true for bear cubs as well. The cubs frantically climb and play and chase each other up and down the slide and into the little house at the top.

Mother bear mostly takes this time to sit back and enjoy watching her cubs play. Like most parents, she does get involved when one of her children does something she does not like. It is adorable seeing her give a bit of a scolding to one of the cubs that are messing around on one of the swings.

Perhaps she feared her cub would get hurt and so she sends it on its way back to the slide.
