Adele Treated Her Friend To A Private Concert At Her Wedding Performing A Medley Of Hits

One lucky bride recently had a very special singer perform at her wedding … none other than Adele!

The 31-year-old singer gave a surprise performance at the wedding of her friends Laura Dockrill and Hugo White. After the ceremony, Adele sang some of her most popular songs including “Rolling in the Deep." 

The singer also covered hits from other artists like the “Spice Up Your Life” from the Spice Girls or Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” and had the wedding guest going wild.

Adele rocked the stage in a long floral skirt and a chic white shirt. At some point during her performance, the singer was recorded saying “expect my album in September,” confirming recent rumors about her upcoming album. 

People have been speculating about a new Adele album coming in 2020 for a while now as Adele hasn’t put out a new album since the “25” album release back in 2015.

In an interview with Music Week in January, Adele’s manager, Jonathan Dickins, already revealed that a new album could be expected in 2020 saying “the sooner the better.”

Adele’s new album might be dealing with all the challenges she has faced in the last year. The biggest challenge she had to overcome, was splitting up with her husband Simon Konecki. The two had been together for about seven years and now plan to co-parent their 6-year-old son together, as Adele’s representatives revealed in a statement last year.

On her 31st birthday Adele even revealed how hard the year following her 30th birthday had been:

“30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean in to it all. No matter how long we’re here for life is constant and complicated at times,” the singer stated in an Instagram post. “I’ve changed drastically in the last couple years and I’m still changing and that’s okay. 31 is going to be a big ol’ year and I’m going to spend it all on myself.”
