Adam Sandler Composes A Tribute To On-screen Son Cameron Boyce After Sudden Death

Adam Sandler shared a heartfelt tribute to previous co-star Cameron Boyce after he tragically passed away this past Saturday. The actors starred in the movies “Grown Ups” and its sequel “Grown Ups 2.” Sandler wrote about the grief he has felt since Boyce’s death. 

It was announced by a spokesperson for Boyce’s family that the Disney star passed away “in his sleep after a seizure resulting from an ongoing medical condition” according to CNN.

Boyce had starred in several popular films including the horror film “Mirrors,” "Eagle Eye" alongside Shia LaBeouf and Disney productions like “Jessie” and “Descendants.” Fans across the internet have expressed their sadness of Boyce’s death.

One user wrote, “we lost an angel on July 06, 2019. words cannot express how much Cameron had made my childhood so much more than the average. I remember watching the first episode in "Jessie" and immediately falling in love w my first celebrity crush. rest up bby, we love you."

While another user wrote, “been in tears all day. never been this affected by the death of someone famous, I’m just so sad thinking about the grieving his friends & family are going through right now. rip Cameron Boyce, thankful to have grown up along with you, watching you on tv & film.”

Adam Sandler also wrote a touching tribute to the late actor: he shared on his Instagram a stunning black and white portrait of Boyce.

“Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around." He wrote alongside the photo. "Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world.”

Boyce played one of Adam Sandler’s sons in the “Grown Ups” movie franchise.

“Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences,” Sandler added.
