Back in 2006, Oprah Winfrey interviewed a brave boy named Anthony Sukto who was stabbed by his own father when he was only 8 years old.

His harrowing story of survival had shocked the entire nation and he was truly "one of the bravest boys Oprah had ever met."

In this clip, you will get to see how Anthony is coping today and how he surprisingly feels towards his father, Tony Sukto, who is currently in prison.

Two years prior to Oprah's sit down, Anthony Sukto was viciously stabbed numerous times on face, stomach and neck by his father, Tony Sukto, who was wielding a butcher knife.

His enraged father had immediately left the scene shortly after killing the mother and leaving his 8-year-old son bleeding profusely on the floor. Anthony miraculously managed to call 911 and pleaded with the dispatcher to send the "Army men" and the ambulance over because his "daddy had killed him with a knife."

Suddenly, his father came rushing back into the house. Anthony revealed that during that riveting moment, angels had told him to play dead. As soon as he did, policeman Mark Eakes and fireman Jeff Colquhoun stormed into the home and managed to save his life in the nick of time. Tony Sukto was subsequently charged with first-degree murder of his wife and attempted first-degree murder of his son.

He had pleaded innocent and was sentenced to over 25 years in a federal prison and prohibited from any future contact with his son.

Oprah contacted Anthony for a follow-up interview via Skype while he was still a senior in high school. He bravely revisited that fateful day and remarkably forgave his father despite his senseless acts.
