Earlier this year, the stars of the second iteration of ‘A Star Is Born’ from 1976 got together to sing a special reunion duet.

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper might be the two latest stars to step into the roles of a veteran singer and his ingénue, but Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand were also a part of the ‘A Star Is Born’ legacy. They got back together again to their fans’ delight.

Barbra Streisand had tweeted in April teasing their reunion before it was revealed that they would be performing together a few months later. The tweet encouraged fans to “Stay tuned” to see what she and her friend Kris would be doing.

It was all revealed in July when Streisand performed in London’s Hyde Park for the city’s British Summer Time festival along with special guest stars. She invited singers Richard Marx, Ramin Karimloo, Bryan Ferry, and The Kingdom Choir to join her on-stage for the sold-out show, and the list also included her old pal and co-star Kris Kristofferson.

CBS reports that she introduced him as one of her favorite leading men before they launched into the performance of ‘Lost Inside of You’ from the 1976 film. Streisand also performed the song ‘Evergreen’ solo, which won an Oscar for the best original song, a win that the 2018 version repeated with the hit ‘Shallow.’
