This family certainly imagined their first day in their new home a little differently. As they moved into their new home, they discovered a resident left behind in the garden. But instead of calling the police, they took him in as a new family member.

It was the middle of June, when the Miranda E. moved into a new house with her family. While the members of the family were moving furniture, they were surprised by a noise. A cat. The previous owner of the house decided to leave the four-legged friend in his old house and left the family a handwritten note. "Welcome to our loving home," he writes in his message. The former owner further explains that a wild, old orange cat has been living in the garden for 12 years now. The cat was born in the garden long ago and would not let anyone get to him because of an injured paw.

The previous owners had fed the animal for years and even built him a small weather protected home. The sole wish of the previous owner was that the new family continue to feed the cat. It hurt them to have to leave the animal behind, because after all there is nothing more beautiful than to win the trust of an animal.

When Miranda E. was finished reading, she immediately looked out the window and to see if she could spot the cat. The animal sat well-behaved in the garden - just as if he had been waiting all the day for his new family to arrive.

Since Miranda and her family already owned five cats, they obviously followed the wishes of the previous owner. They have named the animal "Raz", Miranda E. announced in her post. Raz is slowly getting used to the new family, and he not only gets a daily serving of food but also a serving of confidence.

When Raz finally trusts his new family, he is welcome to come into the apartment and befriend the other cats in the family. If you want to help an animal in need, that's exactly what you should do. After all, there is nothing better than winning the trust of an animal and giving them a life full of love. The new cat mother shared this story and touched thousands of people worldwide.
