A Shaolin Monk Throwing A Needle Through Glass Is One Of The Craziest Things You'll See Today

Martial arts enthusiasts are more than familiar with the impressive powers of a Shaolin Monk, who are trained in the use of 36 weapons and have a chosen animal movement and style they specialize in. It's Kung Fu on a whole different level!

One of the most challenging skills a Shaolin Monk learns is throwing a needle through a pane of glass. The move is especially difficult as the needle must go straight through the pane and not shatter it.

You need to see how it's done!

Three Shaolin Monks joined Gav and Dan from the popular YouTube channel The Slow Mo Guys to film one of the trained martial artists throwing a needle through glass and playing it back in slow motion. If you're not familiar with this channel, The Slow Mo Guys use HD high-speed cinema cameras to capture some phenomenal yet strange (emphasis on the strange) acts to play back in extreme slow motion for your viewing pleasure. Some of their most popular videos include shooting bullets underwater and a man diving into 1000 mousetraps!

But this time the video is focused on the incredibly trained Shaolin Monks, who will absolutely blow your mind with this insane needle trick.

Getting the needle perfectly through the glass takes 10 or more years of training, yet Master Feng Fei makes it look so effortless. His movements are very precise as he stares down the glass frame and throws the needle towards it, resulting in a crack reminiscent of a bullet hole.

Simply incredible! This obviously took much practice and determination to master.
