A Royal Family Feud Might Stop Camilla From Becoming Queen

With Queen Elizabeth II getting older and older, rumors are circulating that she will abdicate the throne to let Prince Charles, her first son, take the throne. In 2005, Prince Charles married long-time lover Camilla Parker Bowles.
But what would it mean for Camilla if husband Charles took the throne? Oddly, no one is exactly sure.

Currently, Camilla has the title of Princess Consort. However, this won't be changed to Queen Consort if Charles were to become King. Officially she'll have the title of HRH.
Prince Charles has indicated that he'd like her to have the title of queen when he takes the throne, but he would need the official support of both Prince William and Prince Harry. Experts say that Prince Charles may not have support from his sons, as they don't have a close relationship with their father's second wife.
Additionally, he doesn't have much time to work on trying to ensure his wife will get the title of queen.
Another reason his sons may be hesitant to support Camilla as queen, is that reports are stating Prince William's wife Kate Middleton has tried to convince William to bypass Charles in the line of succession.
While it is unlikely Prince William will become king before his father, Kate's actions infuriated Camilla. Camilla has been pushing her husband to be tougher on William and make sure his claim to the throne is solid.
Kate Middleton, now the Duchess of Cambridge, was married to Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, in 2011. Kate has been highly influential in both the media and the royal family since marrying the prince.
The couple has had three children together, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
When the 91-year-old Queen Elizabeth dies or leaves the throne, it is unsure if Camilla will be queen, or if Prince Charles will even become king in the first place. There are a lot of unanswered questions, but citizens will just have to wait and see how this dramatic royal feud plays out.
