“May God be with us. Can we come back or what?” the pilot can be heard saying on the video. The operator is heard asking a colleague to confirm the correct protocol by saying, “This flight is requesting to come back…a passenger forgot her baby in the waiting area, the poor thing.”

They ask the pilot one more time about his reasoning for wanting to return to the airport saying,  “We told you, a passenger left her baby in the terminal and refuses to continue the flight.”
