A Hungry Little Bat Takes Huge Bites Of A Yummy Banana Despite Her Grouchy Mood

Bats are arguably the most amazing animals to watch. The flying foxes love bananas, and they can chew bananas into wet pulp passionately. Even though several fruits are their favorite, these animals seem to prefer bananas. It's a great experience watching the flying mammals munch food in their mouth, and the passion they have when it comes to enjoying what they love is incredible.

Look at little Alicia–even though she was rescued in Queensland, Australia, by a Good Samaritan, she has everything to celebrate. Not even lacking a sense of belonging and anxiety can stop Alicia from eating a sweetened fruit.

Alicia luckily survived a near-fatal car accident, reports National Geographic. But look! She is taking big bites of the yummy banana with little confidence but much determination, and she has to keep going, at least for the sake of the hunger. Even though she seems slightly cranky and weak, little Alicia appears to be enjoying the lip-smacking fruit.

Indeed, these animals are not pets, and we should release them every time we rescue them to have all the freedom they want. However, little Alicia looks so innocent that any good-hearted human being wouldn't want to release her. You could be tempted to keep her for some time.

These animals belong to the wild, and you should never treat them as pets. If anything, the feeling of helping them get back to their normal life should be your biggest drive whenever you rescue them. Remember, flying foxes are naturally active at night, and keeping them for a long time at day would be unfair.

She bites with passion, her cheeks are full, and her eyes are black, making her look inoffensive and innocent. There is a feeling of satisfaction, as seen from her reactions. "Please, this is what I need, don’t keep the yummy banana away from me. Much sweeter than I expected, please keep on giving it to me," she seems to be saying.

As it appears, Alicia wouldn't want to go home soon. She has to be kept there for some time to recover before she is released to go. She is fortunate to be alive now, but she doesn't realize it; all she wants is to enjoy the banana as she feels the warmth of the towel wrapped around her.

Fortunately for Alicia, she didn’t get any injuries, and her body parts are all working very well. She stops eating for a few seconds to confirm whether she is safe enough, then takes another big bite off the banana with hopes that all shall be well. She bites a little more than she can chew without caring about the consequences. Of course, she has to swallow it; she wants every bit of it!

We can learn a big lesson from Alicia as human beings. Many people are afraid of these animals because of the myths about them, or maybe because they lurk around at night. However, these are amazing animals that we should treat with dignity. We need to be considerate to flying foxes, help them and learn from them.
