A Group Of Otters Wait Eagerly At Fence For Their Favorite Zookeeper

A group of otters at the Otter and Owl Sanctuary in England's New Forest Wildlife Park wait expectantly at the fence. They are so eager for their food that they climb over each other in an amusing attempt to get a better look at what could their zookeeper bringing them food.

We know that otters are smart because they are one of the few species that makes use of tools. Some breeds open clams with rocks. They also use the extra skin they are carrying underneath their arms to transport items.

Sea otters have so much fur that they can easily survive the cooler temperatures of their environment as detailed here at the Discover Wildlife site.

In this video, we see seven sea otters lined up at a fence probably waiting for the zookeeper to bring their fish! They clamor around the fence and push each other around as they wait.

While amused onlookers laugh and comment, the feisty otters climb the fence and push each other out of the way, looking expectant. One otter even climbs up the fence, gripping it with his paws so he can get a better look.
