The discount serves as a thank you for the hard work that these service job workers excel at each day. The Daily Mail reports that the offer lasts from October 14 to the following Monday and all people have to do is show their ID at the cashier point at any of the chain’s 900 stores.

The founder of Iceland, Sir Malcolm Walker, is a supporter of the men and women of the United Kingdom’s national services.

“Like everyone else, I am in awe of the amazing work undertaken by our emergency services and armed forces each and every day of the year,” Walker said in The Daily Mail. “They are the people we all rely on when the going gets too tough for the rest of us.”
