A Couple Gets A Magical Woodland Visitor On Their Engagement Shoot

Aug 09, 2019 by apost team

Engagement photos mark a very special time in a couple's life together. They're a sign to the world that the couple is ready to move forward. Friends, family, and colleagues will all be looking at them. They're also something that people can keep for years -- something their children and even grandchildren will be able to enjoy.

Naturally, everyone wants their engagement photos to be special. Austin and Dori were no different. When they got engaged, they hired Inna Kova Photography to capture their happiness. They decided to have their session at Michigan's Saugatuck Dunes State Park. Eldina Kovacevic, the photographer, had Austin and Dori pose in a variety of ways reported Good Morning America. For one set of photos, she asked them to sit on the ground and cuddle up together.

As they snuggled, something magical began to happen. Eldina and her assistant noticed that someone else nearby appeared interested in what was happening -- a wild deer. They took more photos, and the curious deer moved closer and closer. Amazingly, he stopped right behind Dori and Austin. He even leaned forward to sniff Austin for a while!

The group was cautious, but they continued to take photos. As if he knew he was part of the shoot, the deer posed in some wonderful, magical ways. He eventually got bored and left, but the photographer managed to get some amazing pics. His presence definitely made this couple's engagement photos extra special.

The photographer posted photos on Facebook and described the moment:

"It’s not everyday a deer photobombs your engagement session 🦌😆 I mean this was probably the coolest thing ever & Dori and Austin were the perfect couple to experience this, they took it like champs!"

Would you have continued with the shoot and included the deer the way Dori and Austin did? What do you think of their magical engagement photos?
