A Big Brother With Tears In His Eyes Sings A Heartfelt Lullaby To His Preemie Little Sister

Children pick up on things very quickly. You never know when they are paying attention or what they are paying attention to. This was clear when this mom caught an adorable moment between her two children. Her son was suddenly overcome with emotion as he sang a song to his little preemie sister. And his mom caught it all on video.

When his mom asked him why he was crying, he said he was crying because it was good. Their mom was hesitant to share the video on Facebook because she stated she normally keeps private moments like that to herself. But she said it would be too selfish of her not to share this precious video.

She was surprised her son was able to see the beauty in such a moment. Even at his young age of 4, he was able to see what a miracle it was that his younger sister was here with him.

The family is very emotional when it comes to baby Ellis.

She is a miracle. She almost didn’t survive past birth. Both baby Ellis’s and her mom’s heart stopped soon after her birth. Her mom was in a coma for 3 days after her birth. Baby Ellis had to be in the NICU for 2 months after her birth.

Her brother only got to see her twice in those 2 months. When she got home, he was aware at how much of a miracle she is.

He was so happy to finally be able to lie next to his sister and hold her hand as he sang to her. He knew not to take moments like that for granted.
