Who would ever think that a teenage girl could complete such an amazing project by herself? 14-year-old Ellie Yeater took on a big project when she decided to buy a 1974 camper. Obviously, the camper needed some upgrades. After deciding that she needed to fix up the camper and make it functional, Ellie took on the project and spent countless hours transforming this bland camper into a beautiful glam-per.

Ellie’s revamped camper is now filled with beautiful accents, inspirational quotes, and exciting colors, making this a cozy place to relax this summer. Ellie only spent $200 to purchase the old camper in the first place, but the much-needed makeover cost additional funds. The money she spent, coupled with her hardworking decorating skills was worth it for the beautiful end result.

Although most 14-year-olds spend their summer vacation from their school outside with their friends or on vacation out-of-state with their families, Ellie decided that revamping this old camper was her number one priority for the summer. Now she has a place that feels completely like her own unique and comfortable space, and it makes for a great summertime spot to hang out that we are sure everyone will be jealous of!

When she purchased the camper, Ellie saw the aged wood paneling on the walls and the old flooring. Her vision paid off, and she worked hard to completely renovate these aspects of the camper by first removing them and starting fresh. Before she got around to doing anything else for her camper, she removed and replaced all of the flooring and other amenities.

You might be wondering how a teenage girl did all of this herself. Turns out, Ellie’s grandfather and father were amazing at helping her renovate her new space! While allowing Ellie to work on the project by herself, they provided guidance and much-needed tips on how she can safely and properly renovate her space.

Ellie used a unique blue paint color called “mystic sea” for the outdoor portion of her camper. She decided on a more feminine color, pastel pink, for the entire inside of the camper. She then created pops of the same blue in unique spots inside. Hardwood tiles were added to the inside of the camper’s floor in order to give the space a fresh, new and modern look.

Once the hard labor on the floors and walls was finished, Ellie got to decorate and accessorize the interior of her camper. Further help was received by her grandmother, who helped her create curtains and napkins to liven up the place. Ellie’s final camper is a miraculous transformation from what she had purchased for $200 in the beginning. The lights, cute pillows, and furnishings make this a place that she is very proud of herself for creating!
