96-Year-Old Grandma Droniak Refuses to Stop Partying After Retirement Home Sends Final Warning

Most people would probably panic after receiving a letter threatening to kick them out of their retirement home. Not Grandma Droniak.

The 96-year-old internet sensation, whose real name is Lillian Droniak, recently left millions of followers laughing after revealing that management had issued her a final warning over the parties she hosts with fellow residents. According to the letter, gatherings involving alcohol were no longer allowed, and she risked being removed if they continued.

The warning quickly went viral, but longtime fans weren’t surprised.

Known for her sharp wit and fearless personality, Droniak has built an enormous online following with more than 4 million Instagram followers and 12.6 million TikTok fans, proving that age has never stopped her from becoming one of social media’s biggest personalities.

Her Instagram bio proudly reads, “I’m a celebrity and a 96-year-old grandma. I can be your grandma too.”

She follows just one person on Instagram: her grandson Kevin, the family member who helped launch her internet career more than a decade ago.

What started as fun YouTube videos together in 2012 eventually turned Droniak into one of the internet’s favorite grandmothers.

Kevin once summed her up perfectly. “Grandma is just as hilarious in person as she is in her videos,” he said, adding that one of his favorite memories was when she taught him how to drive.

Away from social media, Droniak once worked on the assembly line at Sikorsky Aircraft building helicopters. Today, she’s a mother of three, grandmother of five and great-grandmother of three.

And if there’s one thing millions of fans have learned over the years, it’s that telling Grandma Droniak what she can’t do usually doesn’t end well.

By now, Grandma Droniak’s followers know to expect the unexpected. One of her most memorable viral moments came when she announced she was getting ready for her first date in 25 years following the death of her husband. Her expectations were refreshingly simple.

“All I want is a free dinner. I’m not even going to bring my wallet,” she joked.

She later entertained fans by reviewing all five dates she went on that year, proving retirement had only made life more interesting.

Another fan favorite came when she shared strict instructions for her future funeral, including one unforgettable rule. “Bertha is not invited.” But even those videos couldn’t prepare fans for her latest showdown in one of her new Instagram videos.

After dramatically reading the retirement home’s warning letter aloud, Droniak paused for a moment before tearing it in half without hesitation. Then she casually fixed her hair with a pick, touched up her lipstick and made her position perfectly clear.

“I can do whatever I want,” she declared. “I pay $12,000 a month to live here and I can party if I want to.” “We’re gonna drink and gossip. It’s not a party, but we do get rowdy.”

Then came the line that perfectly captured why millions adore her.

“I can’t help it. I love to party! You can’t stop me!”

Just seconds later, there was a knock at the door.

“They’re here!” she squealed before happily wheeling away to greet her guests.

For Grandma Droniak, it seems one warning letter isn’t nearly enough to stop the party.
