Nowadays, pets are part and parcel of our lives. Some adore cats, some horses, while others swear by dogs. You acquire one and develop an emotional connection with them. They become your friend and companion. Some refer to them as their children or important member of the family. And that's why when they become sick or even die, they leave an empty spot in our hearts.
