90 Minutes After High School Sweethearts Had Their Fairytale Wedding They Disappeared Out Of Thin Air

Bailee Ackerman and Will Byler were sweethearts in college that shared a love for agriculture and rodeo. While in college, Will studied agriculture engineering and participated on the rodeo team. Bailee studied agriculture communication, participated on the rodeo team, and was an active participant in Future Farmers of America.

The two Sam Houston State University seniors had the type of relationship everyone wishes was their own.

Despite the warnings of some family and friends, who thought they were moving too fast, the two decided to get married. They were both 23 years old.

The wedding took place on November 3 at a ranch owned by Will's parents.

The bride looked stunning in a feathered white wedding gown and the groom topped his tuxedo off with a cowboy hat. One guest at the wedding took a photo of the newlyweds headed for a helicopter that would transfer them to a local airport. From there, they would leave for their honeymoon.

The couple would never make it to their destination.

The helicopter crashed not far from Uvalde, Texas. The newlyweds and the chopper's 76-year-old pilot died instantly. Local police officials sent recovery teams to the area and were able to locate the downed craft after hours of searching.

One guest at the wedding says the ceremony was both magical and perfect. She said she dreams of the love shared by Will and Bailee.

She fought back tears when saying the couple spent their honeymoon in heaven.
