As a kid, you probably played some kind of sports as a way to keep yourself busy and hang out with your friends. Playing sports teaches you the importance of team work since a good team wins because of combined team effort. There are two good feelings in sports: scoring by yourself and watching your teammates do the same. However, this is not a story focused on sports only.

This is the story of how one act of selflessness went viral and was commended by a lot of people. Austin Weaver was born with cerebral palsy. However, he loves basketball and has played it since elementary school. The third grader has never allowed his condition to stop him from enjoying life.

Austin's mother, Christina says that the school allows him to play with all the other kids. Furthermore, his teammates are always supportive of him. In fact, it's that team support that made most Americans know about Austin.

Christina loves to film her son's basketball game. In the clip that went viral, there is a kid wearing a number 50 jersey and is on the same team as Austin. Instead of shooting the basketball, he decides to pass it to his teammate Austin and helps him shoot the ball.

After missing that shot, Austin's team regains possession, and the same player asks for the ball and gives it to Austin to have a go at the basket once again. This time he scores and his whole team celebrates with him for taking such a nice shot.

You see Austin's conditions makes it hard for him to make certain quick and coordinated movements. This is why Christina was so happy when her son made that almost impossible shot. The people that saw the video through an online video sharing platform were impressed at how team helped each other.

In case you find the time, you can search online for this video to see what I am talking about. Furthermore, you can tell us what you think of Austin's teammates. Would you have done the same for Austin if you were in number 50's position?
