It is no wonder that 9-year-old Madison Baez finds peace at Dodger Stadium. When she was only three years old, her father, Chris Baez was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The iconic stadium was where the family found happiness and solace during what was such a difficult time for all of them.

It was around the time of the cancer diagnosis that Madison started to sing to her dad to make him feel better. Not only did she serenade Chris during the difficult chemotherapy treatments, but she also sang to him before and after his surgery. Chris was in awe of his daughter's natural musical talent. Chris taught his daughter the national anthem when she was only seven years old. He loved listening to her sing this moving song.

It did not take long for other people to pick up on Madison's great talent. Once she had her debut singing the anthem at Dodger Stadium, Madison became known as the "anthem girl." She has now performed all over California at various stadiums and other venues.

As die-hard Dodger fans, the Baez family loved listening to her sing at Dodger Stadium. The rousing performance was a full-circle moment for the family that has been through so much but continued to rely on the good times at Dodger Stadium. Fortunately, Chris says that his cancer is now in remission. Despite his good health, Madison still sweetly serenades him every day.
