9-Year-Old Belts Out Celine Dion Mega-Hit With Voice That Leaves The Room Mindblown

What is the criteria for calling a song a classic? Although this term is broad, it usually means that the musical number has withstood throughout the test of time. Songs like “Candle In The Wind” by Elton John or “Wonderwall” by Oasis probably come to mind when you think of classics. When each generation finds a newfound love for the track, it’s certified as a classic hit.

An artist that has perfected the process of making classic songs is the beloved Celine Dion. Perhaps her most classic and well-known song of all time is the lovely “My Heart Will Go On” that was featured in the timeless movie “Titanic.”

Well, one little girl did one heck of a job doing the classic song justice when she decided to perform the song on television for millions to hear!

The young girl, a 9-year old named Emma, wasn’t even alive when the song came out! But that didn’t stop her from showing off her vocal ability and talent. She performed in front of a crowd and judges on a hit television show.

Even though she was one of the youngest to compete, she’s one of the judge and audience favorites after her beautiful Celine Dion cover. During the semi-finals of the competition, she knew she had to make an impression and knew just the Celine song that would make her one of the frontrunners of the competition.

Although it was a bold choice and a risky move, it paid off!

Everyone now knows her true talent and her stylistic choices and beautiful voice showed through the song.

During her performance, you see the camera pan to both the audience and the judges. It’s during these moments that you can see how awestruck the entire room is with her beautiful voice!

It’s clear that the rest of the competition needs to step up their game if they want to win against little Emma.

The choice to sing such a classically known and loved song was a bold choice, but the reward was worth the risk! The young diva surely has a bright future ahead of her, even if she doesn’t win the overall competition!
